Join heart health experts from Inova for a heart health talk and heart-healthy crock-pot cooking class.

Join us as we take our cooking demonstration cart on the road to the Sterling Library! This series of four classes, taught by the Loudoun County Master Food Volunteers, will teach the basics of knife skills, menu planning, make-ahead strategies, and cooking techniques.

You’ll get to eat the product at the end of every class!

Join us at Loudoun Hunger Relief from 6-7pm for a nutrition class led by 5 Stones Institute’s Lara Lattman. Lara will provide information on how to make healthy meals on a limited budget. The workshop will include:

-A hands-on demonstration of innovative and simple ways to eat healthfully using ingredients available through economical sources of wholesome food, including Loudoun Hunger Relief.

-A “meal box” that includes all the ingredients you need to make the demo recipe at home.
