Loudoun Hunger Relief offers an opportunity for youth 17 and under to earn volunteer hours from home while meeting the needs of the families we serve. Your participation in this program must be approved in advance for us to sign off on your hours. Register here, and we will contact you! This option CANNOT be used for court mandated hours or adult volunteer hour needs.
How to qualify for service hours:
Youth volunteers can build one or more of the below kits. The youth volunteer must take pictures of the event and write a one to two paragraph essay on his/her experience. Parents must attest that the food drive was completed by the youth volunteer and confirm how many hours were invested. Parents are not permitted to purchase food/items for service hour credit. Service hour sign off will happen upon kit drop off. You will make your appointment for kit drop off with our team, who will communicate with you after you register your kits.
