Stress Management and Mindfulness Class

Join Five Stones Institute’s meditation leaders, Dr. Martha Calihan and Ann Thomas, to learn tools to manage stress. The tools include body relaxation, deep breathing, and meditation techniques. One technique, mindfulness, can help focus your mind on the present moment without worrying about past or future events. It can help you stay calm even during stressful times.

Managing stress in a healthier way can lower heart rate, blood pressure, and blood sugar; can increase brain function; and improve your overall mood. Martha and Ann will share easy ways to do this every day.
