Nutrition and Cooking Classes at Sterling Public Library

Join Chef Bonnie Moore and Loudoun Hunger Relief’s brand new mobile cooking cart at the Sterling Public Library for this four part series. Everyone from beginners to veteran cooks will be whipping up quick, delicious, nutritious family meals in no time. You’ll learn the basics about key ingredients, knife skills, menu planning, make-ahead strategies, cooking techniques, equipment, and tips from the pros. Best of all, you will get to eat what you make at the end of class.

Each class has a different focus:

Class 1, Oct. 10: Basic knife skills and menu planning
Class 2, Oct. 17: Salad dressings and make-ahead strategies
Class 3, Oct. 24: Crock pot meals and quick cooking techniques–endless dinner options
Class 4, Nov. 7: Freezing and food preservation techniques
